Reshma Patel

Reshma Patel is Masters of Public Health student, and completed research work at the Population Health Analytics Laboratory at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She conducted a scoping review to identify multi-level type 2 diabetes prevention interventions and assess their effectiveness in addressing population inequities in diabetes risk. This involved screening approximately 4,000 abstracts, completing full-text reviews of 127 articles, extracting data from 25 studies, and analyzing and synthesizing the findings. At the beginning of the term, the team published the scoping review protocol to the Open Science Framework, and they are currently finalizing a draft of the review for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
