Andrew Huynh

Andrew Huynh is a third-year Biology Specialist student at the University of Toronto Mississauga. His research is focused on optimizing diabetes management for older adults in long-term care to maximize quality of life, reduce the risk of harm from overtreatment, and employ health system resources effectively. Andrew is assisting with the analysis of qualitative interviews with residents and caregivers aimed at understanding their values and preferences towards diabetes management in long-term care. This work will directly inform the design of a community-informed diabetes management intervention for the long-term care context.
