Monique Botros

Monique Botros is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto. Her research project focused on the PortfolioDiet.app, where she analyzed data from a previous study of 63 participants to compare the impact of social determinants of health on app usability and content understanding. This analysis led to updates to the Portfolio Diet website and resources, aligning them more closely with user needs. Additionally, Monique created 'Jane,' a character designed to educate and support patients, making complex health concepts within the Portfolio Diet more relatable and easier to follow.
